In addition to my musings (or rantings) on wine, women, travel and song, we are adding an advice section which will be written by a follically impaired gentleman who goes by the name Bald Jon. Here is his info and look for his posts starting later today. We will eventually post these on a forum, but in the meantime we can use the blog and comments to achieve the same purpose.
Education: Graduate of laceName w:st="on">TexaslaceName> laceName w:st="on">A&MlaceName> laceType w:st="on">UniversitylaceType>-This simply means that as a Texas Aggie he has told and been the focus of many jokes.
Profession: Over 20 years Operations Manager and Vice President of major food manufacture (Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama)-With up to 250 employees under his leadership he definitely knows the condition (good and bad) of the American worker.
Entrepreneurial: Business owner- He gave up 20 years with the same employer at 41 years old to buy a business in the Northeast. The entrepreneurial bug hit and it was time to do something about it! Was this just a stereotypical adjustment to middle age?
Personal: Married 23 years (to the same woman!) with three children. Bald Jon’s oldest son is currently serving in the National Guard and going to college. How many middle aged men are paying for their children’s college education? Bald Jon never served in the military (a rebellious child) but his father is retired LT Colonel and family currently in the US Army so we can definitely get current US Military perspectives if needed for our readers.
Spiritual- 14 year church youth group leader and ordained deacon.
Hobbies- Writing, Motorcycles, Arm chair quarterback (Colts and Patriots, who can choose?), coin collecting, movies, theater, travel and anything involving his kids!
A middle aged man is a sum of his experiences. Together, what we are experiencing and have experienced can make for some amazing conversation and discussion.
Everything and anything that involves the lives of middle aged males is up for discussion
